(ANSA) – ROMA, 9 SET – Prima medaglia per l’Italia alle Paralimpiadi di Rio 2016. All’Aquatics Center, Francesco Bettella ha ottenuto la medaglia d’argento nei 100 dorso S1. Il padovano ha nuotato in 2”27’06, giungendo alle spalle dell’ucraino Boiko e davanti all’altro ucraino Kol. “Grande Francesco – il commento del presidente del Comitato,Luca Pancalli, riportato dal sito ufficiale – prima medaglia! Da oggi iniziamo e non a caso lo facciamo dal nuoto. A Londra fu lo stesso, anche se in quella circostanza fu bronzo, e alla fine ottenemmo buoni risultati.
